Start with a clear signal
A useful profile explains what you are building, what you can contribute, and what kind of opportunity you are open to. Keep it specific enough for another person to understand the context before they reach out.
- Choose an available, professional username.
- Use a real display name and a concise headline.
- Add relevant skills, interests, location, and current intent.
Explore before you contact
Use discovery and search to understand who is active, what they are working on, and where your skills may be relevant. Profiles and startup pages are designed to make context visible before a message or connection request.
- Filter by industry, stage, intent, commitment, and location.
- Read a profile or startup page before reaching out.
- Keep first messages direct, respectful, and relevant.
Protect your account
Vizdea uses email verification codes rather than a password. Never share a sign-in code, and make sure your account email is one you control. Public sign-in is being introduced in a controlled rollout.
- A code is valid for a limited time and one use.
- Vizdea will not ask for a sign-in code over chat or social media.
- Use the troubleshooting guide if a code is delayed or unavailable.
